Joey, I did indeed. They're definitely the best band in the world at the moment (IMHO).
Seen them loads of times. Even met Ben Weinman at a Red Fang gig.
Black metal-wise, I prefer old school stuff. Emperor are the pinnacle.

Nator, did you see Dillinger Escape Plan? They're pretty much my favourite live band.
The best black metal bands going at the moment are Wolves in the Throne Room and Deathspell Omega.

I saw most of their set at ArcTangent festival this year. They were pretty good but I prefer them on record.
